If you are purchasing a new trailer we would have no problem working with your chosen manufacturer to take your trailer in part-exchange. This is a good option if you are depending on the value of the used trailer to go towards the deposit for your new equipment. It enables you to use the trailer right up until the day the new one is available, avoiding the need to sell it in advance, pay potential rent or accumulate additional expense.

We can also assist with purchasing trailers which are still on lease or finance, whether it be due to the unexpected end of a contract or to help avoid any expensive return conditions that maybe enforced. In addition, if your assets are worth more than what is owed, we can return you the balance as a profit.

Along with the purchase of used trailers, RTS are also interested in Carrier and Thermo King used refrigeration units and we can collect these units directly from your premises if required. Many trailers or trucks will have a refrigeration unit, even if the goods being carried do not require it. Removing the unit will reduce the weight of your trailer, save you fuel and earn you money. If you do not have the skills or facilities to do this on site, we will be more than happy to arrange this for you.
